This is a 10 question case study involving a
negotiation to get increased job responsibilites.
To do list:
a. find out which competitors of our company have the
kind of quality/cutomer relations position I want.
b. get instances in past of our employees who have
been allowed to make lateral mores despite general
policy against it.
Summary of negotiation outcome (include objective,
dynamics, results):
a. goals: get idea noticed
b. dynamics: except for Lee Berns, everyone was pretty
receptive, especially the VP and even my boss seemed
to come around
c. outcomes: I got a full-time position starting next
month as quality/control relations . . . Yes!
